And I don't know why I stayed away, really.  Oh, well.  My lunch break is almost over, so I won't have time to update my profile until this evening....and BELIEVE ME it needs updating!!!! O_o

In the very near future, I am going to start sharing my space with my cousin, Shawn.  She has taken some very neat nature pictures (in my humble opinion).  However, she doesn't have as much time to post them, so I volunteered my services.    I hope to have some of her pictures up soon.

On another note, I suddenly relized right before writing this that I'm getting pretty close to 3,000 pageviews.  

Need I say, I will definitely have to do something special when that time comes.  

Everyone is fine from the last post, jury duty went okay, and new piccies to post.  Yay.  I may be no great shakes as an artist, but at least it makes me happy.  

Yes, as you might have guessed from the title, this is a bit of a rant before I head up to my parents house.

Speaking of whom, my mom's in the hospital almost immediately after my sister in law finaly gets out (facepalm).  I have *gak* jury duty Monday.  I know it's supposed to be my civic duty, but it scares me to death to even think about being on a jury.  On top of this, my best chat buddy had been suffering for a while but at least got to go on a trip to see a best friend this week.  At least THAT's good.

But these are some of the reason I haven't posted any original stuff in a while, along with the fact that a lot of my photo taking time is in the genealogical realm, taking tombstone pictures for my own genealogy project and for findagrave.com.  Yeah, I know that might sound weird to some, but it is a fascinating hobby for me.

Anyway, I gotta get packed and get gone.  Hopefully, I can get some new original stuff up here soon, but family comes first, of couse.  *hugs her mom and sis-in-law and brother and niece and nephew and dad.....)

I deleted all but my two newest pictures of the Alabama Veterans Memorial, because I now have many more pictures taken with a much better camera.  It'll take me a little bit to get the uploads going, but I will.
